Had Cajun fried catfish, onion rings, coleslaw and medium wings. Everything was perfect. New menu and new decor has really improved this local favorite. Servers are smiling and energetic. Plenty of TVs. Good music that's not too loud.

Confession: Chili cheese fries and hot wings are my guilty pleasure. Whenever I was looking to order them from a convenient, late night, location, my guy and I would order from here. The quality of the chicken wings was by no means superb, but I do enjoy the sauce. The chili cheese fries made you kind of hate yourself after sharing only half of them, but still, we ordered them... If not for my past experience here, I probably would have said this place was worth 2 or 3 stars, as long as you know what you're getting yourself into (a divey sports bar and grill). However, my last experience there has made me decide to literally NEVER GO BACK. I called to place a pickup order at 1130pm (we were driving back from miami and were hungry, don't judge me), and asked if the kitchen was still serving. The hostess said yes, took my order, and then hurriedly said, "hold on", before abruptly placing me on hold for almost 5 minutes. When she came back on the line she said, "actually we're not serving food anymore." I asked her why she just took my order then and what had changed in the past 5 minutes (because the kitchen normally stays open very late) to which she rudely replied, "WE'RE NOT SERVING FOOD ANYMORE" AND THEN HUNG UP. One thing I can't stand is poor customer service, and this blew my mind. I emailed the customer service on the Landlubber's website to see if the management would attempt to rectify the situation, but it has been over a week and I have not yet received a reply. So I'm officially through with this place and will never again spend my money here. I will also bad mouth them to any and all friends who mention Landlubber's in front of me. Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.

Was in town visiting family and decided to come in for some beers and wings( I used to frequent landlubbers years ago). WOW!! This place has taken a bad turn. Service was horrible and the wings were bad. Friend told me that they're under new ownership. I hope they turn it around. It used to be a great place.

The interior has been redone and the face lift has brought about new life to this staple watering hole. Their food is on point and their staff is very welcoming. I even got to meet the owner Kevin! He's full of energy and genuinely happy to see people there. Definitely making this a regular place to visit. I strongly recommend it.

A place my BF used to go to as a kid. Gotta love a place in S Florida that stands the test of time. A completely laid back, no frills classic bar/bar food kind of place. The raw oysters I had on this inaugural trip were - well, not that great/meaty. But the smoked fish dip was great. I had to ask for celery because they serve it with tortilla chips. I'd stick with the sandwiches and wings, and burgers on the menu. I'm told they are spot on. Decent selection of domestic and imports. Ok- this place is nothing to write home about but worth a three star review on Yelp for the above average bar food, reasonable prices, and very attentive staff. It is child friendly so a good place to go for lunch or dinner after a weekend sporting kind of thing. I'm sure I'll be back - with the kids.

Went here for lunch and as soon as you walk in, you can see the torn seats. The place looked outdated. At 12 noon there were only 3 customers besides us, should have walked out then. The wings were bland and dry. My lunch partner ordered a Buffalo chicken sandwich and she did not like it. The bread looked nasty. The tomato looked old, definitely nothing fresh going on here. Frozen onion rings as well. I felt bad for the waitress which was the only good thing about this place. I don't know how a place like this stays in business. I wouldn't even want to come here to drink a beer. There's nothing appealing at this restaurant. I will NEVER come back..

Brought my family of 4 for dinner. All of us were disappointed and will not return. Food was not fresh, and unappetizing. Food did not come out all together from the kitchen and the last item to come out, a salad, had to be sent back because it had a hair in it. Way overpriced for the poor quality and we couldn't wait to go home.

Been coming here since I was a kid.. Always had fun here with the games and the relaxed vibe. However now that I'm old enough to rate restaurants based on food and not games, I rate one star. Terrible food! The quality of the food is clearly all frozen..everything is tasteless. Needless to say it is definitely not worth the prices. The only pro to this place is the staff are pretty nice and it's kid friendly.

The staff is always friendly & fun. You can't go here expecting high end cuisine, it's a sports bar & that's what you get sport bar food. I love the pulled pork sandwich. I always say I will get something else but I usually end up with that. It's decent food with a decent price. If you want high end steak or seafood then you need to go to those types of places. If you want to watch the game & wear shorts & a tank top & enjoy some fast bar food this place is great.

Walk in here on a Saturday night with my buddy. The place is practically dead, which isn't always a good sign but we proceed anyways. We check the menu and the appetizers are all basically the same price for a small portion...$6.99. Fair enough I guess but you'd expect them to vary a bit by item like the breaded fried mushrooms compared to say the 1/2 dozen oysters. My friend gets a chicken tender basket ($6.99) which comes with coleslaw and fries, and I choose the fish and chips ($7.99). My fish were some decent fried pieces of cod...nothing to write home about and the "chips" were just the regular french fries, not steak fries. Now my friend's chicken tenders (3-4 of them I think) looked like they came straight out of a Tyson bag and according to him didn't taste homemade at all. Luckily we had a coupon which made his meal free. The waitress was attentive and friendly but other than that, we'll probably stick to the Landlubbers closer to us in Plantation (which is pretty damn good)

omg....the smell....i couldn't even stay. went there on a Wednesday night because their website said they have all you can eat snow crab, THEY DONT! the hostess said they are under new management. really, is the new manager parked out front with landlubber license plates too? this place should be the next restaurant on restaurant impossible only to be closed forever! this place was terrible and i didn't even get to the food!

This place use to be the spot for wings and sports bar food, use to be. It seems it has lost it's mojo, and turned into a seedy/greasy dive joint. The wings aren't top notch anymore, the fish isn't that fresh, and most of the food is mediocre. Service is definitely bland for some of the prices they charge ( 11$ for a dolphin sandwich). The food seems to have lost its edge in the competitive market of sports bars. Unless they make some big changes I won't be going back anytime soon.

My neighbor raved about this place so I put it on my list of places to try. Wow, were we disappointed! Ordered a pint on draft and it was good but the bottles in my refrigerator are colder than what I was served. I wanted a dozen oysters or clams but upon asking I found out that both are farm raised. The clam chowder was thick, pasty with too much flour and tasted more like cream of mushroom soup than anything else. I would venture as far as saying that something out of a can might taste better. On to main courses, the Chicken Phillie sandwhich was good with chunks of chicken breast, grilled mushrooms and onions with mozzarella cheese on top. The only problem was that the chicken was rubbery and overall it was lacking in flavor. Doesn't the cook have a spice rack? The fries were ok but the cole slaw was not worth eating more than one bite. The lobster Po Boy was where I hung my hopes for something in the five star range but sadly enough it too was a let down. It came on a cold boring white sub roll. It had luke warm bites of breaded and fried lobster that looked like something out of a bag from the freezer. Thankfully there was lettuce and tomato but the thousand island dressing all over the top ruined it. I could not even get a hint of lobster flavor. Our waitress never came to ask how our food was or if we needed anything. Finally I asked the other waitress if I I could get some lemon and have my sweet potato heated up. They did bring lemons quickly but the potato being nuked another 30 seconds didn't help. The butter just sat there in a lump asking me where it should go now. The sweet potato minus the butter and still barely warm was my meal. I should be happy that I didn't overeat. I will not return as a raw bar should sell wild caught if they are going to be the real deal and the service was less than adequate!

We live close and have had very mixed feeling about this place. Never get the chips and salsa as an appetizer. The wing are good but tonight we waited 30 minutes for 9 wings when we ordered 10. They are .29 because of the 19th anniversary. 4 star for wings flavor 5 star for wing price during january 1 star for cooking time -1 for 9 wings 4 stars for server. Pretty blonde and friendly 2.5 stars. But I will round up

I tried this place for the first time and I will definitely eat there again. The oysters were excellent and the fried catfish was awesome. The wings were ok although I would have liked more drumsticks. The entrees come with two sides and they give you a pretty decent size portion. However, the only thing I didn't like was that they upcharge you for every little thing. I wanted to substitute the fries and cole slaw for a baked potato and corn and they charged me extra for these items. i kind of think that simply substituting sides shouldn't cost extra but this is just a minor inconvenience. My waitress was really great and she even made time to talk to me and tell me more about the restaurant and the area itself. They have a pretty good menu and the atmosphere is kind of dive barish but kind of not. It's definitely worth a try!

Finally! The owners form the other Lubbers in Plantation took over and the food quality shows. This will certainly become as good as the other Landlubbers if they keep this up. I heard another one was opened in Coconut Creek so it will be nice to have a few great spots to get the best wings in Florida when I travel there.

Guess a bad meal is bound to happen as one reviewer didn't like it but: This is not a dive bar. It is a raw bar with a seafaring theme. It is a family restaurant with a separate bar/lounge next door. As with all restaurants struggling with the economy, thre are few hotspots anymore. Not being a hotspot has no bearing on food quality. I have been eating or taking out here frequently since 1998. It is close by my house and the wings are a weekly favorite treat. The babyback ribs are very good and the steamers, clam chowder and crab legs are as good as anywhere. This used to be an Oakland Raiders clubhouse but I hear it no longer is. I'm not sure why. Economy again I guess. The wait staff is always friendly. I would recomend Landlubbers to anyone. The five stars are not to make you think it is a 5-star resaurant but i is a top raw bar in it's class. I'd live to see the location on the water though like Souhport, it just makes the theme more realistic.

Landlubber's, What can I say about Landlubber's? I'm giving it 4 stars because I haven't tried their oysters yet because of right now, oysters aren't in season. Anyways, locals say it used to be the spot for wings. I can't imagine how delicious they used to be if they're delicious now. I've visited here twice. On both occasions I've ordered the wings hot with garlic. I love love love love that they drench them in hot sauce. They're a little too crispy but I don't mind, even though, I do prefer my wings "breaded". Anyhoot, on to the conch fritters, I don't know if they're made in the house or if they're pre-packaged but they are delicious! And their corn fritters are definitely something new to my taste buds!
